On July 23, dean Du Hong, vice dean Shang Huichao together with teacher Zhang Suxiang and Wang Dongqiang went to Qingdao Hongda Textile Machinery Co. Ltd. to carry research on industry university research cooperation. Shao Mingdong, Secretary of the Party committee and general manager of Hongda Textile Machinery Co., Ltd., welcomed dean Du and her party. Dean Du had an in-depth communication with Zhu Qihong, general manager of product process center and director of winding service department, on the research and development and technical innovation of carding machine and carding combined machine, as well as the problems of the current automatic winding machine, poor drum yarn forming and uneven winding forming.

Dean Du introduced the basic situation of School of Mechatronics Engineering and the purpose of this visit. Closely around the school running idea of "one body, two wings" and "three roads", the school actively explores the reform of talent cultivation with the characteristics of textile machinery technology. "High end textile equipment technology" has always been the research direction of the school. In recent years, the school has undertaken a number of national and provincial textile projects. Dean Du said that on the basis of the school's many achievements in the textile direction, she hopes to further improve the school's ability to transform scientific research results and serve the society through cooperation between school and enterprise cooperation, industry-university-research collaborative innovation.
At the same time, Dean Du and her party also visited the Jinbeite Fluid Transmission Products (Qingdao) Co., Ltd and Jinbeite Intelligent Machine Co., Ltd.; and paid a return visit to the graduates of Qingdao Haier Co., Ltd. and Qingdao Hehang Transportation Equipment Co., Ltd. to understand their employment situation. The school actively explores the education mode under the background of new engineering (OBE), which lays a foundation for the school to steadily promote the employment work.
This investigation and research not only opened up the contact channel with Qingdao Hongda Textile Machinery Co., Ltd., but also laid the foundation for further cooperation in the later stage.
